who is grace.c.elliot?
grace.c.elliot is a dream-pop and blues singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, hailing from Anchorage, Alaska. Influenced by the likes of Alt-J, Lorde and Regina Spektor, Elliot’s music blends ethereal melodies and dynamic rhythms with soulful vocals, indie intimacy and subtle jazz influences, weaving together music that is raw, atmospheric and deeply immersive.
For a time, Elliot traded the frigid tundra of Alaska for the sun-soaked desert of Las Vegas, Nevada, releasing her debut self-titled album, Grace C. Elliot, in collaboration with producer Tim Sorbs. This album garnered significant attention, leading to features in National Public Radio’s Tiny Desk competition and Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist.
Since moving back to the 49th State, Elliot has continued to craft her unique brand of bedroom pop, drawing inspiration from her many life experiences and the natural beauty of Alaska, in the ever-constant company of her fur-babies and the spiders who live in her walls.
